The MD-11 is now almost entirely a freighter fleet, and it is exactly the kind of type where a manufacturer module may no longer be the practical basis. Our engine is not tied to one data source: where a module does not exist, the same calculations are built on certified flight-manual data instead.
The designators below are the ICAO type codes the application recognises for this family. Freighter conversions fly on the same data as the passenger aircraft.
Takeoff and landing performance is computed on the device itself. No connectivity is required at the aircraft, which is what makes the calculation dependable at an outstation or on a stand with no signal.
A freighter loadsheet lives or dies on the special loads. The NOTOC is produced with the sheet and signed with it, and every edition is retained centrally, which is what an operator needs when the question is asked months after the flight.
