A structure that fits your whole airline

DS StationInfo holds the operational information your airline runs on, in a structure you build yourself. Any department can own an area of it, and any system can read from it, so it grows on both sides as the operation does.

Structure

You build the structure, we run it

Categories, fields and data groups follow the way your airline is organised, and they move when the organisation moves.

  • Parent and child categories, reordered and relabelled as you need them
  • Fields from plain and rich text to dates, numbers, contacts and links
  • More than one set of data for a station, for a season or a handling contractor
  • View and edit rights set per user group, per category
  • Functional on handheld devices and desktops

Structure

One structure, read by people and by systems

Every department maintains its own area of one structure, and the application and your own systems both read from it. The departments and the systems shown are only examples: you build the structure on one side, and the open API takes whatever you connect on the other.

One platform across the operation

Flight operations, technical operations, ground operations, cabin crew and catering run from the same structure, and any other part of the airline can hold its own area. Each one is maintained by the people who hold that knowledge.

  • Flight, technical and ground operations in one structure
  • Cabin crew and catering alongside them
  • Any other part of the airline given its own area
  • Each area maintained by the department that owns it
Revisions

Edited as a revision, published when ready

Station content is edited as a revision against the version currently published, so work in progress stays out of the application until it is released.

  • Revisions edited alongside the version currently published
  • Unpublished data and attachment changes listed before they are released
  • Review available for both content and structure changes, with a pending count
  • Attachments carried with the station content they belong to

Interfaces

Read by people, and by your own systems

Everything held in StationInfo is available over a documented API, an open architecture your own systems plug into. There is no fixed list of what can consume it: operators feed their own systems from it and build their own applications on top of it, including the channels their passengers use.

  • Documented REST API across the whole structure
  • Any of your own systems connected to the same content
  • Operator-built applications, including passenger channels
  • Export with filters, and CSV import straight into a field
The map

Your network on one screen

The dashboard opens on a map of every station you operate, with a side panel alongside it carrying the summary, the pending updates, your filters and current alerts.

  • Search resolving on ICAO, then IATA, then airport name, then city
  • Labels switched between ICAO and IATA, with base layers and overlays
  • Obstacle clearance and declared distances per aircraft type, drawn from DS Performance
  • Secondary stations shown or hidden, whether or not they carry content yet
  • Custom filters deciding which stations appear, saved and reusable

The record

Every change on the record, every date watched

Nothing changes quietly. Every action is logged and stored, and the revision timeline shows exactly what changed and when. Date fields raise their own alerts, so a renewal or an expiry reaches the people who own it before it lapses.

  • Every action logged and stored, a full audit trail for each station
  • A revision timeline showing exactly what changed and when
  • Superseded editions preserved behind the version in service
  • Date fields that alert their owners ahead of permit, contract and compliance deadlines
